We’ve been recommending Comodo Antivirus for the past couple of years. It works really good at preventing virus and malware. But it can be really annoying. When you install or install a major update it wants to change your home page and your search engine. 99.99% of people NEVER want this changed. Also the sandbox feature will drive you crazy. You install something and it is not there??? After several minutes of trying to figure out what happened, you remember that the Sandbox features is enabled. It is so maddening that all I remember to do is permanently disable the Sandbox feature.
At the first of the year we change software for our managed IT services. They provide Bitdefender for their antivirus solution. I had heard of Bitdefender but never really looked into their products. I have to say, since moving our business customer to Bitdefender we have seen no malware or viruses. We have seen a couple of adware programs slip in but this is a really amazing product.
So needless to say, we signed up as a re-seller. So starting last week, if you need your antivirus renewed we will be recommending Bitdefender.
